iPhone SE (2nd & 3rd gen) viewport size
375 × 667CSS px · 2× DPR · 750×1334 physical
The iPhone SE (2nd & 3rd gen) gives web pages a 375 × 667 CSS pixel viewport in portrait. That’s the width your layout and media queries actually see, not the 750 × 1334 physical pixels of the screen: with a device pixel ratio of 2, every CSS pixel is 2 × 2 real pixels.

Paste your address (or localhost:3000). doesitfit shows it at exactly 375 × 667, with Safari (iOS 26)’s bars if you want them, and tells you if anything spills.

What a web page actually sees
The full viewport is 375 × 667, but the browser’s own bars take some of it. In Safari (iOS 26) a page gets about 375 × 583 on first load (20px status bar and Safari’s 64px bottom tab bar on first load; the bars shrink when you scroll). That’s your real “above the fold”. Use 100dvh instead of 100vh for full-height sections, or they’ll hide behind the toolbar (why).
| Setting | Width | Height |
|---|---|---|
| Full viewport (portrait) | 375px | 667px |
| Visible on first load (Safari (iOS 26)) | 375px | 583px |
| Landscape (full) | 667px | 375px |
What it means for your CSS
Breakpoints
At 375px: Tailwind uses base styles only (below sm, 640px); Bootstrap uses xs. In landscape (667px): Tailwind uses sm (sm: styles apply), Bootstrap sm.
Content width
With 16px of padding on each side your text column is 343px; with 24px it’s 327px. Text closer than 8px to the edge looks cramped (more).
Sharp images
A full-width image needs about 750px of real pixels (375 × 2).
<img src="hero-750.jpg" srcset="hero-800.jpg 800w, hero-750.jpg 750w" sizes="100vw" alt="…">
Styles for this width
Content-first breakpoints beat device lists, but if something breaks at this width:
@media (max-width: 375px) {
/* screens 375px wide and narrower */
}Other display size settings
The scaling the owner picks changes the viewport your site gets:
| Setting | CSS viewport | DPR |
|---|---|---|
| Default (Standard) (default) | 375 × 667 | 2 |
| Display Zoom: Larger Text | 320 × 568 | 2 |
